Having multiple pets can be a challenging but rewarding experience. After a stressful day at the office, the sofa starts to look pretty comfy next to leashes and tennis balls, but it is so important to me that I take time to play with all of my kids, no matter how tired I might be. When I find it hard to muster the energy to be a good pet owner, I try to think of the undying loyalty my pets show me. Their steadfastness helps me remember to reciprocate their affection.
Although there have been many days that I just want to be left alone, I have never once stepped through the front door to find my pets sad to see me. It is such a blessing to have friends that always want me around and never seem to have a bad day.
