Smelly Ears

Random post alert!

Our Cocker Spaniel Brinkley has really stinky ears. About every two weeks or so he starts to smell like feet. I know, how disgusting. I have done some research and I guess it is a very common problem with dog breeds that have long ears.

To remedy the problem, your must clean their ears often. Our groomer suggested we use the lowest percentage rubbing alcohol solution we can find and mix 1/8 cup with equal parts water. Then dip a cotton ball in the solution and clean away.

However, make sure that the cotton ball isn't too wet, water in a dogs ears can easily cause infection.

And voila, no more stench of feet!
